Volunteers have been the driving force behind Dogwood animal shelter since its beginning. Through auctions and sales, a handful of dedicated people raised enough money to build a small facility and in 1976, the badly needed shelter was established as a 501(c)3. It was filled beyond capacity almost immediately. From the start, Dogwood offered low cost spays and neuters, and since 1997, when the board of directors declared Dogwood a no-kill facility, it has steadily expanded that program. When the long awaited new shelter facility, located near Osage Beach was built in 2005, a spay/neuter clinic was included so that the surgeries could be done on site. |

The Cove is a Robert Trent Jones Sr. Signature Course. it is directly across from The Lodge of Four Seasons. In 2008 Golf Magazine named this course one of Missouri's top five courses. This 18-hole, par 71 course challenges guests with its rolling greens, 65 bunkers and the signature hole #4. An extensive renovation in 2008 included new greens, bunkers, a re-design of some holes, new carts, GPS and a new clubhouse.

The Historic Bagnell Dam Strip, located in Lake Ozark, Missouri, is a favorite for locals and visitors alike. Also known as "the strip", it is host to a wide variety of touristy shops and outlets including crafts, souvenirs, t-shirt shops, restaurants, arcades and amusements.
You know you've entered the strip when you come to Rebal Arcade and the big Indian by the batting cages and Two Bit Town. At the bottom of the hill is Bagnell Dam where it all started. There, you can enjoy a scenic sky ride or take a cruise on the Tom Sawyer or Larry Don. |
