Added on 11/18/2008 by lisa@arghcomics.comDuring a recent stay @ Osage Beach, we chose Holiday Inn primarily because of the franchise reputation and lack of vacancies we'd encountered along the strip. Naturally, if we'd gone just a few miles down the "road," we'd have found additional choices, but when it's late and you're tired of driving....
The rooms were very clean, but we were disappointed to not find the typical mini-fridge or microwave. Pricing was comparable to what one would expect right across the way from the outlet malls.
We were quite disappointed, when we discovered we were going to be an additonal day in Osage Beach, that they wanted $25 more the next day for the same rooms. We tried to barter our rates, even presenting the receipt from the night's stay before to no avail.
Happily, we found a nice Comfort Inn three miles away for half the price....and it had the mini-fridge and microwave :)
