Live Music w/ Backbone |
Thursday August 07, 2014 At 6:00 PM |
R&B/ with an attitude. Bass, drums, guitar and vocals. Group Est. 1997, a Lake Ozark favorite. High energy and always a good time.
BACKBONE is BACK! A few years ago this band was one of the best local bands at the lake. Well, they are back. Penny and the boys are ready to do it again. The band consists of: Penny Lower–lead vocal, Mike Lower–bass and vocal, Steven “Chili†Chilson– guitar and lead vocal, Jake Hanselman–drums and vocal. The Backbone Band originated in 1996. For the next 6 years they performed hundreds of gigs at all the Lake’s hot spots. Penny stated, “Due to several life-changing events over the following years Backbone was in retirement. The music was always with us but we were unable to perform live anymore. Times do change and we are able to perform live once again. We hope that people will still enjoy our music. We will be playing some of our new songs and some originals, some standards and some old favorites. We realize that we have a lot of fans out there who will be excited that we are back.
