Casey Muessigmann grew up in the small Midwest town of Spencer, Iowa. Getting his start in church and school choirs, he eventually expanded his horizons to local and state wide talent searches, including the Colegate Country Showdown, and an audition for American Idol in 2008. Deciding to take his music to the next level, he continued to hone his craft as a singer/songwriter, and in 2010 released his first album titled “Together We’ll Ride.” In 2012, Muessigmann participated in the open audition process for The Voice, Season 3. After battling through the early auditions, he won a slot in the Blind Auditions, and eventually turned the chairs of two judges, ultimately choosing to join Blake Shelton’s team.
