Get ready to scream your way into summer fun on the Bear Bottom Waterslides. Missouri’s Number 1 and Number 2 longest open flume body waterslides are waiting for you to enjoy. Over 700 feet long, kids young and old alike are sure to enjoy this lakeside attraction.

While you are resting between runs, swim up to our poolside Bar enjoy the coldest beer at the lake, or order up a frozen specialty drink that is guaranteed to cool you down. If you want to stay dry while the kids play, sunbath on our huge lakeside decks, while our staff brings you your favorite beverage.

The Waterslides are open from 11 am to 11 pm daily (weather permitting). If in doubt, call the resort at 573-374-6905.

Admission price is $10.00 per person to ride the slides and free to non-riders. Season Passes are available!

We are encouraging a new genre of music to our local and tourist friends who are looking for an up tempo alternative to the classic/rock, blues scene at the lake(not that there's anything wrong with that!) Don't worry, we have stuff for everybody, and most people stay for the whole show.

Dog Days

Matt is best known as a performer with a rowdy sense of fun, and that side of him is in full flower on the new CD. Its gem is "Shine," an anthem to the joys of the Mason jar and the moonshine produced in places like Matt's beloved western North Carolina. It's a song in a league with some of modern country's best sing-along anthems, and it is the perfect focal point. There is also "Whiskey Well," about the process of turning heartache into a party, “Sweet Sun Angel,” is a feel-good summertime anthem that evokes images of carefree days in the sun with the one you love. and "Dirt Road Dancing," celebrating the outlook that says the music should be loud, the drinks cold and the men and women single and rowdy.

Shorty Pants Lounge and Marina

Describing Ryan’s live show to new people is not the easiest thing in the world. The art of live looping is growing as the technology becomes more accessible, but the ability to use this tool artistically and fluidly is difficult to master, and therefore is still rarely seen. Ryan uses acoustic guitar, voice, bass, harmonica and an electronic hand percussion instrument to “build” his songs from the ground up in front of a live audience on a nightly basis. What happens is RPI will play 4 or 8 bars of a song with an instrument, he will push a button with his foot to record and replay that instrument and that “loop” will keep going, he then will layer another instrument on top of it and so on and so forth. Everything is created live in front of the audience. There are never any pre-recorded loops or samples used, ever. Every song is a little different every night. Some songs remain acoustic the entire way through, some songs will build during every verse, and some songs will build layers at the beginning, some at the end, it is a musical smorgasbord, every song is different every night.

Michelle currently holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music from Webster University. A few of her accomplishments and projects include winning the 12th edition of Lake Idol, being a Top 5 Finalist in the 2012 Kansas City Chiefs Voice of the Kingdom National Anthem Contest, was Final 12 for the ABC reality show "Duets" to which she had the opportunity to fly to Los Angeles to meet and sing for the infamous R&B singer, John Legend, is on the National Anthem roster of singers for the St. Louis Blues hockey team, and is currently working on her first independent EP album, due out Spring 2013.
