WATERSLIDES OPEN THIS WEEKEND

Get ready to scream your way into summer fun on the Bear Bottom Waterslides. Missouri’s Number 1 and Number 2 longest open flume body waterslides are waiting for you to enjoy. Over 700 feet long, kids young and old alike are sure to enjoy this lakeside attraction.
While you are resting between runs, swim up to our poolside Bar enjoy the coldest beer at the lake, or order up a frozen specialty drink that is guaranteed to cool you down. If you want to stay dry while the kids play, sunbath on our huge lakeside decks, while our staff brings you your favorite beverage.
The Waterslides are open from 11 am to 11 pm daily (weather permitting). If in doubt, call the resort at 573-374-6905.
Admission price is $10.00 per person to ride the slides and free to non-riders. Season Passes are available!

| Band Bio: A local group from O’Fallon, Mo., “The Rough Riders” entertained and wowed the crowd with some good ole country music such as, Hank Williams Jr.’s “Family Tradition” and Craig Morgan’s “International Harvester.” They were awesome! So much so, that I decided to talk about them, rather than the other politic ians who showed up, like Missouri Governor Matt Blunt and the guy who wants Gov. Blunt’s job, Kenny Hulshof. Don’t get me wrong, Blunt and Hulshof did a fine job preparing the crowd for McCain and Palin, but the Rough Ryders kicked some serious butt and were a hard act to follow! Even country music star and headliner John Rich had a tough time following that act. |

| Elisha Israel and Az-One - Elisha Israel is a Kansas City-based Reggae artist. He came to the K.C. area in 1987 and immediately began working with local Reggae talent including Sidney Wolf (formerly of Ras-Micheal and Jimmy Cliff), Garth Dennis (currently with Black Uhuru and formerly with Wailing Souls), Music Maka, One Drop, and Gaddites. AZ-ONE has continued the mission of spreading the message of "Love and Unity" through the heart-throbbing, inspirational music they bring to the people. Don't miss Elisha and the AZ-ONE band! |
