| Alex Hoffer has been playing music in the Midwest for the past five years and has been building a loyal following since doing so. Coming from the city of Joliet, IL and spending more than a few years in Chicago, Alex has been influenced by all kinds of music. You might call it Progressive Rock but, it's easy to pick out the Funk, Blues, Pop and Americana in his songs as well. With or without the band, the music is rhythmically driven and gritty. Alex is currently finishing his first studio record with his band and has recorded two acoustic CD's since 2009. With three weekly shows and a typically full weekend, Alex is one of the hardest working Singer/Songwriters you're ever bound to find. The end of 2015 will mark his first year topping the 200+ mark. An accomplishment that speaks to his work ethic as well as his talent. |

| Shorty Pants Lounge, along with our sister BBQ restaurant, Wobbly Boots Roadhouse, will be a stop for the 1st Annual Crawl For The Roses at the Lake between 3-6 pm. In case you didn't know it already, this coincides with the running of the Kentucky Derby. This fun event is sponsored by Four Roses Kentucky Bourbon, and it will feature roses for the first 30 ladies, a prize for the best derby hat, and Four Roses souvenir cups. That's sure a lot of incredible stuff to be happening in one day, but we're going to do it! |
