| Alex Hoffer has been playing music in the Midwest for the past five years and has been building a loyal following since doing so. Coming from the city of Joliet, IL and spending more than a few years in Chicago, Alex has been influenced by all kinds of music. You might call it Progressive Rock but, it's easy to pick out the Funk, Blues, Pop and Americana in his songs as well. With or without the band, the music is rhythmically driven and gritty. Alex is currently finishing his first studio record with his band and has recorded two acoustic CD's since 2009. With three weekly shows and a typically full weekend, Alex is one of the hardest working Singer/Songwriters you're ever bound to find. The end of 2015 will mark his first year topping the 200+ mark. An accomplishment that speaks to his work ethic as well as his talent. |

Blue Collar Kings is a blues, classic rock and r&b band. We (the band members) enjoy all kinds of music from ROCK to BACH but in performing music we try to stay with what we do best!! Rockin' Blues. The old timers used to say do one thing...good.
We play an eclectic mix of electric blues, 60's & 70's rock, and r & b favorites. If its old and swings we play it. If we don't play a particular song in a set, its just because we haven't gotten around to learning it. Normally hits like Wonderful Tonight, Drift Away, Stormy Monday,Tore Down, and Long Train Runnin' will fill the dance floor of any nightclub. Original songs are crowd pleaser as well. |
