Jefferson City native Ashley Strohmier
crowned Miss Missouri USA 2010 |

 A Jefferson City woman was crowned Miss Missouri
USA 2010 on Sunday at the Juanita Hammons
Hall of Performing Arts in Springfield.
Ashley Strohmier, daughter of Steve and Dana
Strohmier of Jefferson City, represented Cole
County and competed in swimsuit, evening gown
and interview competitions.
She will represent Missouri on April 18 in the 2010
Miss USA Pageant in Las Vegas. The pageant is
scheduled to be televised on NBC.
Along with winning the title, Miss Strohmier won two
special achievement categories, which were
swimsuit competition and Miss Photogenic.
She is a graduate of Helias High School and is
now attending the University of Central Missouri,
majoring in criminal justice and political science
with a concentration on pre-law.
Miss Strohmier will be making public appearances
throughout the state during her one-year reign as
Miss Missouri USA.
