Added on 06/28/2017 by EGORMAN3@GMAIL.COMWARNING - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! This is an incredibly poorly run "management company" that is not at all professional. They will blame others for their failure to operate their company and will end up costing you your vacation.
We booked a lake house with PSEatthelake.com in Jan. '17. We contacted them via airbnb, but Nancy Wadsworth(owner/operator) told me I had to call her personal # to book. I did & received a basic email receipt without details. 4 months later (2 weeks prior to the vacation), I emailed Nancy asking for the link to the house, as it had been taken offline. She sent a 1 sentence response saying "Island 4 can be found on the website." Since we didn't book "Island 4" I called Nancy & she had no clue what I was talking about for a reservation. After many minutes of explaining to her, she realized that they had moved my family's reservation from 1 large house to 1 condo & 1 single family house, many miles away land & water. They had sold the house, but failed to inform us that our booking had been canceled. Nancy said that they called, and spoke to me, but I reviewed my phone records & never received a call from PSE (I would've 100% remembered that & immediately canceled the reservation!) Nancy also said that they sent me a letter, however this would've been impossible considering they didn't collect any of my contact information (evidenced by the receipt). They never had me sign a contract or mentioned terms of the agreement. Additionally the "replacement" house & condo didn't include any of the amenities that we booked the initial house for (private dock, 1 house for the entire family, location of the house, privacy). I told Nancy that these weren't acceptable replacements (considering we never would've have booked either of these). She offered to reimburse- but the PSE contract states that they would provide a contract of equal or higher value - which they did not. I found another house to rent (only one available with the amenities we require) but it was $200 more per night. She refused to split the difference with us.
This company should not be allowed to do business considering they take money under false pretenses, they failed to contact us about the change and broke their contract.
Nancy will say "Well the owners sold the house - we couldn't do anything about it." However, this is not the issue. The issue is that PSE failed to notify and inform our family - which completely eliminated our opportunity to re-book another rental at the same price point.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - there are a million other options on Lake of the Ozarks, that will actually deliver what they sell you!!
