Poor Job/Poor Service
Added on 06/12/2015 by smgep@aol.comAbsolute horrible experience. I would not recommend Mike Nelson Roofing. The roof continued to leak. He made two weak attempts to fix the problem and left a big mess and dripped roof sealer all over my deck, grill and gutters. He promised to clean up his mess and never returned. He simply did not care and had many excuses as to why he could not fix the roof and did not honor his "two year water tight warranty." As a result, I have thousands of dollars of damage to the room. I called him many times during the "two year water tight warranty period." Apparently he thought he'd let the warranty run out and leave me with the problem, which is what he did.
This is a vacation home, so I am not there year round and he stood me up several times on weekends when I told him I would be there to meet with him. I even asked him to give me a quote on replacing the roof over the sun room, which he never did. Obviously he wasn't interested in my business.
One entire wall of the room has to be replaced along with the roof. The rafters rotted out, along with the entire front of the house because of the continued water damage.
Very poor excuse for a "professional." Don't waste your time or money with RM Nelson Roofing.
