Local Man Wins 2014 Chevrolet Cruze LS in Game Day Giveaway

Camdenton, 03/18/2014 – Hulett Chevrolet Buick GMC, along with Chevy Dealers of the Ozarks, made one Lake area resident a whole lot happier when his name was drawn from the twelve finalists to win a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze LS.

Twelve area Chevrolet dealerships make up the Chevy Dealers of the Ozarks.  Each dealership held a drawing and chose one local winner.  Those twelve winners went to the final drawing held at halftime of the Missouri State University’s Men’s Basketball Game Tuesday, February 25^th 2014.

 Shane Morehouse, who registered to win at Hulett Chevrolet Buick GMC in Camdenton, was the grand prize winner of the 2014 Chevy Cruze.  Jason Hulett had this to say: “"Shane has been a valuable customer since he purchased his Chevrolet Spark from us a few months back.  It was a pleasure to hand him the keys to his new FREE Chevrolet Cruze and welcome him into the Hulett family again!  Congratulations Shane!"

Lake of the Ozarks St. Patrick’s Day Parade Turns 30

February 26, 2014

March 15, 2014 at 1:00 pm on Bagnell Dam Blvd., Lake Ozark will celebrate the 30^th Annual St Patrick’s Day Parade. The Lake of the Ozarks community is invited to join the fun with thousands of parade goers, as the parade travels from The Tomahawk Motel to the Bagnell Dam.  Decorated floats in business and civic categories will participate and distribute candy, flyers, beads and the like to observers.

We are excited to announce the 2014 Grand Marshall, Colonel Michael Hopkins USAF and current NASA Astronaut.  Although he will not be able to attend personally, Mike has become a local hero since making his lifelong dream of going into space, a reality. More than a role model this School of the Osage graduate and local native has had a positive impact globally.  

In his absence the art department at School of the Osage will create a piece of art to represent Mike in the 2014 parade. This piece of art will them be presented to Mike when he makes his next visit home to the Lake of the Ozarks.

Registration:   Begins at 10:00am at Quality Inn

            Lineup:            Must be in designated spot by 12:30pm

            Start:               Parade starts at 1:00pm sharp

            End:                 Parade usually wraps up around 3:00pm

            Traffic:            There will be no thru traffic on Bagnell Dam Blvd from the hours of 12:45

                                    to 3:00pm. HH traffic will be detoured to Hwy 242. Traffic entering and

                                    leaving HH will be allowed thru at breaks in the parade via Hwy 242.
