Tim NEwell
Tims first exposure to music came before he was born, giving him the best vantage point at all his mother's performances just behind her guitar as she sang her way through countless opry shows, churches and contests. As a child, he had a second home at the Lee Maces Ozark Opry, mimicking every act of the show from behind curtin. His interest in music grew into a passion when he learned his first chord. Having never taken lessons, he simply taught himself whichever style of music he found most appealing at the time leaving him fluent in many different genres. He's played solo and performed in a number of bands from country, bluegrass, blues, rock, jazz, instrumental, classical, and so on. Never knowing who his audience will be, he's always ready and capable to delight them.

Live Music w/ Baub Eis Band
Event Time 6:00 PM
Sat 5/17
Dog Days
The Baub Eis Band has been rocking the Lake of the Ozarks and the Midwest for over 15 years! John Marsi and Baub Eis are a centrifuge of blues, rock and jam band sounds, and have recently been joined by longtime friend KP Hauge on the bass guitar. Baub lights the guitar fingerboard ablaze with a combination of whatever flavor they feel like throwing into the fire that night - from fiery blues, four on the floor rock, and even occasional space jams supercharged with live looping - always guided by a creative spirit, and always fresh from show to show. In the past few years Baub has opened for acts such as REO Speedwagon, Starship, Willie Nelson, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Marshall Tucker Band, Molly Hatchet, Jimmy Van Zant Band, Unkle Kracker, Head East and Air Supply. Baub has also been seen sitting in on stage with acts such as Chubby Carrier & the Bayou Swamp Band, Tab Benoit, and The Schwag . He's familiar to many as a semi-finalist at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis - twice with BEB and once as a solo/duo act. John Marsi, a classic member of BEB, has oft been out traveling the world looking for mysterious World Beats. It's always an exciting sensation to have his thundering drumatude in the mix. He has spent time gigging in Las Vegas, playing with a hardcore band in Holland, and other experiences too numerous to mention. John is a local favorite studio musician DJ, and drum technician. KP Hauge is new to the lineup and brings rock solid bass lines and a wry sense of humor - along with a new fervor to the stage act.

That 80's Band
Memorial Day Weekend Lake of the Ozarks
Event Time 10:00 PM
Sat 5/24
Dog Days
Rubik's Cubes, Pac-Man, skinny ties and leg warmers. "That 80's Band" is bringing back the sound of the 80's pop/new-wave era. Comprised of Valerie Girl (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Mick Fly (Bass/Vocals), Dan Duran (Keyboards/Vocals), Izzy Furreel (Lead Guitar/Vocals) and Johnny Swatch (Drums), "That 80's Band" is a fun, high-energy recreation of the 80's music scene.

This is not a modern version of everyone's favorite 80's tunes...this is as close to going back in time as humanly possible without a
Flux Capacitor and plutonium.

The experienced line-up have the capabilities (and gnarly wardrobe) to cover the most popular (Madonna, Rick Springfield) to the nostalgic one-hit wonders (Aha, Tommy Tutone). So dig out your parachute pants and glove, jackets with lots of zippers, practice your moonwalk and check out this band...they're tubular.

Damon Smith and the Beautiful Mistakes
Country/ Rock/ Southern Rock Great Live Music
Event Time 10:00 PM
Fri 5/30 thru Sat 5/31
Dog Days
Damon grew up in the small town of Ada, Oklahoma working in the family owned business: a funeral parlor. This unique upbringing instilled in him a steadfast work ethic, taught him to respect others, revealed the value of life and, consequently, exposed him to country music. “On many occasions when I was a young boy, I'd go with my father to pick up the deceased, ” recalls Damon. “He would do his work and I would listen to country music. I vividly remember hearing him singing 'The Auctioneer' by Leroy Van Dyke as he worked. ” Consistent with the values of teamwork and dedication that he was taught, Damon pursued the sport of wrestling. Years of commitment and hard work paid off when Damon earned a wrestling scholarship to Oklahoma State University where he became a member of the 1994 NCAA National Championship Team. As an OSU sophomore, Damon received his first guitar for Christmas. “I took it with me to college, taught myself a few chords and then taught myself to sing. ” Damon eventually became a performing member on the Oklahoma Opry and formed a band that entertained throughout the Texhoma region. Upon graduation, with his guitar and a marketing degree in hand, Damon moved to Music City to pursue his musical dreams.

Dog Days
It sure doesn’t hurt having a name like Noe Palma. That’s why his debut is titled “Get My Name Right.” It is very different, unique, and memorable. That’s exactly what fans have been saying about Noe’s music for the past 15 years!

Growing up the Kansas City Metro Area, Noe started singing when he first heard Elvis Presley sing “All Shook Up.” Raised in a very musically passionate family, he was engulfed by different thythms and sounds. Both his parents were talented singers and his father played guitar. Like many of his friends he was a member of his high school choir, but quickly realized that type of music didn’t fit into his country soul.

At the beginning of his career Noe tested the waters with a few bands. He founded a very successful band called The Broken Cowboys and served as their lead singer. They toured Missouri and all surrounding states and played every major venue in the region where they developed a very healthy cult following. In fact in 2001 Broken Cowboys took second place at the Colgate Country Music Showdown Midwest Finals. They were quickly noticed by Tim McGraw’s manager Scott Siman of RPM Management.

Noe has an unparalleled stage show. “I love it when I hear that my show was just as good or better than the headliner! It puts a smile on my face from ear to ear!”
