Added on 08/18/2011 by lisa.dodson@zurichna.comWe take both of our dogs (Duke & Lucy) to Midwest ALL the time. Scott is the main person we always work with--he is awesome! Our dogs love him and his kennel. They get excited when we get close and look back lovingly when we leave. They are open 7 days a week with heated and air-conditioned pens. Lots of community exercise time for "social" dogs (Duke, our "good" boy). He also has smaller "solitary" outdoor areas for less-social dogs (Lucy the JRT trouble-maker!). As you are driving through Laurie, MO you go past the G2M on the left and then Barbie's restaurant on the right and then you turn RIGHT AFTER Barbie's restaurant. It is probably about a mile back on that lake road. You can't miss the big sign that says Midwest Kennel on the right. Very convenient location for weekend warriors travelling to the lake from the Kansas City area.
If you call him 20-30 minutes before you pick up, they will make sure they have been let out before you get there.
I have used a lot of kennels over the years and this is the BEST kennel I've ever used. We have been using them since May of 2010 and our dogs have been there 10-15 times by now.
